Email Tech Support - Windows Mail

1) Click on the Tools menu.

2) Select Accounts.
The Accounts window will appera.
|

|
3) In the Accounts window, select your BasicISP.net email configuration and click Properties.
The Mail Account Properties window will appear.
|

4) Click on the Servers tab.
|

|
|
5) On the Servers tab, verify that all the server settings are correct:
My incoming server is: POP3 Incoming: mail.basicisp.net Outgoing: mail.basicisp.net
Email username: the first part of your email address (before @). Password: your basicisp.net password. Remeber Password: checked.
My server requires auth:checked.
Click on the Settings button under Outgoing Mail Server.
NOTE: FOR ALL OTHER DIAL-UP COMPANIES, THE USERNAME NEEDS TO BE THE FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (EXAMPLE@COMPANY.COM).

6) In the Outgoing Mail Server window, verify that "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected.
