Email Tech Support - Thunderbird

1) Click on the Tools menu, and then select Accounts Settings.

The Account Settings window will appear.

2) In the Accounts window, select Server Settings in the list on the left. Your Account Settings will appear on the right .

3) Verify the following information:

Server Type: POP Mail Server
Server Name: mail.basicisp.net
Port: 110
Username: the first part of your email address (before @).

Use Secure Connection: Never

NOTE: FOR ALL OTHER DIAL-UP COMPANIES, THE USERNAME NEEDS TO BE THE FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (EXAMPLE@COMPANY.COM)

4) Select Outgoing Server in the list on the left.

Highlight the server listed and click Edit.

The SMTP Server window will appear.

5) Verify the following:

Description: BasicISP.net
Server Name: mail.basicisp.net
Port: 25

Use name and password: checked
Username: the first part of your email address (before @).

Use secure connection: No
