Email Tech Support - Opera 8.x

1) Click on the Mail menu, and then select Mail and Chat Accounts.

The ManageAccounts window will appear.

2) In the ManageAccounts window, select your BasicISP.net email configuration and click Edit.

The Account Properties window will appear.

3) Click on the Servers tab.

4) On the Servers tab, verify that all the server settings are correct:

Incoming POP Server

Server: mail.basicisp.net
Username: the first part of your email address (before @).
Password: your basicisp.net password.
Port Number: 110
Use SSL: Unchecked.

Outgoing SMTP Server

Server: mail.basicisp.net
Username: the first part of your email address (before @).
Password: your basicisp.net password.
Port Number: 25
Use SSL: Unchecked.

NOTE: FOR ALL OTHER DIAL-UP COMPANIES, THE USERNAME NEEDS TO BE THE FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (EXAMPLE@COMPANY.COM)
