1) In Outlook 2007, go to the Tools Menu and select Account Settings.  The Account Settings window will open.

2) Click New.

3) The Add New E-mail Account window will appear.  For E-mail Service please select POP3 and click Next.

4) You will want to by-pass the automatic account set-up.  To do this please check the box in the lower left corner labeled Manually configure server settings or additional server types.

Then click Next.

5) Since you are configuring an E-mail account, here you will select Internet E-mail .

Click Next.

6) In the Internet E-mail Settings screen, please enter your personal and Basic ISP information as follows:

Your Name: Your first and last name.
Email: your Copper.ner email address.
Incoming: mail.basicisp.net
Outgoing: mail.basicisp.net
Username: your e-mail address.
Password: your password.

Please ensure that Remember Password is checked.

7) Next, you will need to click on the More Settings button on the right side of the window.  This will bring up a new dialog box labled Internet Email Settings. 

8) Click on the Outgoing Server tab.

Click the checkbox for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

Click OK. 

9) Now you are back to the previous e-mail settings window.  Here you will need to click Next.

10) Your email account is now ready to be used.  Click Finish to return to the inbox and check your email.
